Field Superintendent
The Superintendent will be responsible for planning and organizing all field construction activities for a project, ensuring that it is finished safely, in a quality manner, on schedule, and within budget, while developing and maintaining a positive company reputation with the client and community. You will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional projects that align with our mission and values.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of construction documents, client objectives, and project goals.
- Lead and manage on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identify and promptly resolve discrepancies in construction documents.
- Implement our collaborative process, fostering open communication and teamwork among all project participants.
- Responsible for the daily scheduling and coordination of all on-site activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Uphold our commitment to quality, integrity, and service in every aspect of project delivery.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders.
- Keep a clean, organized work environment, setting professional standards.
- Support field staff through punch list, MEP equipment training, and turnover.
- Cultivate positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members to foster long-term relationships.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction supervision.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore preferred) and MS Office suite.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- OSHA certification preferred.
- Construction related certifications desirable.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
